Yoshio Omura – 1.97″ – Reptilian Fume
We first saw this style of marble by Yoshio Omura at the Kobe Tonbodama Museum in Kyoto and it blew us away. Pick it up, spin it around, and the fume disappears then explodes into view with each twist. The colours and vibrancy of the fuming is amazing. Pictures will never do it justice, this is definitely a marble you have to hold in hand.
Yoshio Omura learned to blow glass in Eugene, OR almost 20 years ago. He is one of the first of the new generation of boro artists in Japan.
